A. No. You're getting no nutrition whatsoever...your body needs nutrients to survive, and calories. If you're looking to become anorexic...this would probably be a good start. You would end up with soft bones, problems with your teeth, hair loss, dry skin, bleeding...this is not the way to go for weight loss. Exercise...healthy balanced diet...

A. Gastroparesis is when the stomach is slow to empty, so that isn't what is being referred to here. The ball in the stomach would be a bezoar. Bezoars can be made up of hair or other non-food items. I've never heard of celery causing this, but I guess if you eat enough of it, it could happen.

A. The answer is very little. I'm afraid it is a myth. Celery contains virtually no calories and so you can eat as much as you like and not put on weight. However it costs fewer calories to digest than it contains.

A. The bigger concern is WHY does your kitten have an upset tummy? If you don't fix the WHY then celery water will just be a temporary fix if it works. I don't think celery water will do harm but you really need to figure out why it's tummy hurts. Probiotics (broad spectrum) is VERY helpful for tummy aches and it works almost instantly. Probios is an excellent brand and your feed store should have it or a large animal vet clinic should have some. We keep it on hand ALWAYS and not just for my horse, dog and cats. A. Hello Winterrules, I don't know how your celery has made it this far in those temperatures. Celery will not, in no way, take temperatures that low. Pull them up now. I hope you bleached the bases of each plant with extra soil? I grow about 10 or 12 staggered plants per year. I live in Los Angeles. Todays temp is mid 70's. A. nice thought but those veggies dont provide enough nutrition.. mix in some raw broccoli and carrots for the vitamin A and magnesium. also, if you're trying to lose fat or weight, make protein a more primary energy source. the body stores carbs and fats.. not proteins. grab an atkins bar once in a while in place of a regular meal. good luck.

A. I think it is a matter of personal taste. I like Marie's Super Chunky or Marzetti's Ulitmate Blue Cheese. It is very easy to make your own so you can control the spices to taste. I like this recipe. BILL"S blue cheese dressing 3/4 cup sour cream 1 1/3 cups mayonnaise 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled In a large bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise and Worcestershire sauce. Season with mustard, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir in blue cheese. Cover, and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.

A. Celery: The answer to your question is no. Like many vegetables, celery is mostly water. It is, in fact, about 95% water. As a result it does not freeze well. When the celery freezes, the water contained inside the stalk also freezes, damaging the fibers. I knew this intuitively and it was something that I had always been told. I had not, however, actually tried to freeze celery, so I experimented. The results were a spongy pulp when the stalks were thawed. The best part is that if you keep celery on hand it makes a great snack. It has almost no calories and there's a lot of fiber. A. Ramen Noodles. I make it with a little bit of chili sauce, soy sauce, and sesame sauce. Then i put a handful of letttuce in it. Its sooo gooddd. Go to the site on the bottom they give you a whole bunch of recipes for ramen noodles. Celery hmm. . .chop it up and put it in tuna? Your peppers sould be ok. just saute them dont eat them raw.
