How many days do people go to school per week?, in Ethiopia!?
Q. In Ethiopia, please this is majorly important! I am doing a country report and I need alll the info needed, The education part is the hard part.
Asked by andythaihuynh - Sat Apr 18 01:22:49 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Actually, most Ethiopian children do not go to school. Unfortunately, only around 34% of children in Ethiopia attend regular schooling. That being said, the number of days they attend school can vary. In cities, 5 days a week is the standard. In the rural areas, it may be as few as 1-3. The rural children also typically start school later in the day and may come home at lunchtime for a little while. As nice as that sounds, they do this because even the children have to work on the farms.
