how do we see similarties between richard III and shakespeare?
Q. in Richard III, written by shakespeare, how do we see parts of his own life appear in the play?

A. We don't, really. Richard III has virtually nothing in common with Shakespeare's own life. Richard was a nobleman who grew up in a time of civil wars, then (in the plays, at least) murdered men, women and children (including his own relatives) to get the crown for himself. Shakespeare was born to a respectable middle-class family in Stratford, made his way to London, and, as far as we know, never fought in a war, never murdered anyone, and certainly never became King. Beyond the facts that they were both men, both lived in London for a while and both spoke English, there's almost nothing they have in common. Hope this isn't a school essay assignment, because it's pretty ridiculous if it is!

SHAKESPEARE: What act/scene of Richard III does Richard start showing signs of incompetence?
Q. I can't seem to find the exact page, or scene where Richard barks orders at various people without realizing that he has not given a complete order. I recall that he ordered someone to go somewhere right away, and then he later yelled at the guy because the guy was immobile. When he questioned him, the guy replied that Richard had not yet told him where to go. My memory is rather vague on this. I know it was after he was crowned and his battle with Richmond is coming up. So it's probably between Acts IV and V Thanks. Actually, it's in IV, iv; I've found it, so thanks!

A. I think it is where he describes how he will kill the brides husband and make her his own, then he does it, Richard III is great.

A. King Richard the Third or Richard III is fine. King Richard the third gets your word count up.
