What are your thoughts on nuclear weapons?
Q. I think that nuclear weapons should be disposed of, all of them before someone decides to do something that could end Humanity. I recently found out that we (England) have a nuclear weapon that could blow up the South of England? That was a real eye opener to me. If there's going to be a war, I do not think nuclear weapons are the way. What do you think?

A. Nuclear disarmament is something of a double edged sword. On one hand, you have the weapons (I'm opposed to them for what it's worth.) that could do massive damage if launched, but are pretty much obsolete by now. On the other hand you have countries like Iran who are trying to get their hands on them. Thing is, I seriously doubt Iran could be persuaded to disarm if they were to get nukes. So in the end, much as I hate to admit it, it becomes a better thing to hang onto some nuclear weapons, if only just a few, to cause the smaller rogue nations to "toe the line" as it were. Just the threat of having one of these nukes, even if a tactical yield of only a few kilotons (thousand tons), dropped on them should they go too far, is enough… [cont.]

What is the legality of carrying weapons such as swords in public?
Q. What are the United States Laws in regards to situations like this? Is it legal for people to carry weapons such as swords and other dangerous weapons on their persons in public? Technically they are not concealed and after doing a brief google search, there was nothing on the subject. Does anyone have any more knowledge?

A. Some states it is legal, some states it is illegal, some states you need a permit. EXAMPLE: Arizona law states that it must be visable, or you have to have a CCW. Sword canes are considered concealed. New York law states that it is illegal to carry a knife of any sort with a blade longer than 4", and a sword is considered a knife in New York by law. New York also bans the "wear outside of his or her clothing or carry in open view any knife with an exposed or unexposed blade"

What are some affordable weapons systems that can sink small boats and be used by Merchant Marines?
Q. I'm curious what kinds of weapons would be well suited for sinking pirate vessels that attempt to board merchant vessels and that could be used by the crew members on the vessels. What would they need, and about how much would it cost to protect the ship from all angles of attack?

A. Well, a crew armed with Automatic weapons is pretty scary, provided they have proper training.
